The Greatest Prank Ever

Ok. So I'm planning a great prank on my boss at work. I always joke around with her at work that I'm going to steal her job. Well she was out today so, with the help of a few co-workers I moved the stuff from her office into my cubicle and vice-versa. And the nameplate at my cubicle now says her name with her title below it which reads "A/R Team/ Natalie's Assistant. I changed my title on my email signature and even sent out a memo to her team (now my team) letting them know how excited I am to be their boss. When she comes in tomorrow morning I'll be in her office holding a meeting with my new team!!! Everyone cross your fingers I don't get fired!! :)

My New Rockstar Hair

Ok. So I went to get a haircut and I got it cut a little shorter on the sides. Well the way my highlights were before made the new cut look weird. On on of the shorter sides, it was all brown. And on the other side it had random spots of blond. Needless to say, I needed new color. i though it was time for a change, so I went a little crazy. I asked for bright red with a couple of blond panels in the front. I think it looks awesome. The red looks a little hot pink, but I think it's really fun and definitely "ME". I hope you all feel the same and if you don't, I really don't care. It's not your hair!! :)

Testimony

Sunday at church was fast and testimony meeting. All throughout the meeting, the Spirit was giving me a gentle nudge. I got up and spoke and I wanted to share this testimony with my family and friends as it applies to them. I spoke of the passing of our Aunt Sandy and our trip 2 days after the news to the Temple. I felt so at peace when I stepped foot on the Temple grounds. I know this peace was because through the church we are blessed with the knowledge that we can be reunited once again. I feel so grateful to have this in my life and I truly don't know where I'd be without it. I love my family very much and am so thankful that we have the ability to be together for eternity. Because, one lifetime is truly not enough time to get my fill of my family. I love you all.

Harold's Birthday

Today is Harold's 23rd birthday!! Yeah, he can stop teasing me about being older. Although, I got him an early birthday present of a Cardinals jersey, I of course got him another present. I got him an X Box 360 which came with 2 games and I also got him "Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe" game. BIG MISTAKE. It's been set up for a mere 3 hours and I'm already annoyed with the screaming taking place in my home. His friend is over and of course they have to verbally act out the scenes in this Mortal Kombat game. It looks like 2 six-year-olds on the couch right now. But I'm glad he's happy. As you all know, he recently got me my puppy. And he rarely says no to my requests. It was really fun to surprise him too because he thouht i was totally against getting him one. All in all, I think he had a great birthday.

Super Bowl Outcome

Well, the Cardinals lost. :( But you know what, they put up a heck of a fight. All week everyone was talking about how it would be a blowout, but the Cardinals had the Steelers pretty scared. All in all, it was a good game. We had a big party for a lot of our friends. Here are some pics from the party along with my awesom helmet cakes I made for the occasion. And be sure to check out me and Harold's touchdown dance!

It's Flipping Freezing!!!

I thought I left New York last year, but apparently the cold weather has followed us. On my lunch break it was 42 degrees!!! What the heck? And of course it was the one day I forgot my jacket. walking to my car after work was like hiking in the Swiss Alps. It was insane. Anyway, I hope you're all enjoying your lovely Arizona weather. You all SUCK!!! :)

Super Bowl XLIII

I am SO excited that my hometown team, the Arizona Cardinals, are in the Super Bowl. This is huge news for Arizona. And, as they have been all throughout the playoffs, they are the underdogs for the win. And, yes, Steelers are known for their outstanding defense. But really, does defense matter when you have Fitzgerald and Boldin as your wide receivers? These are argueably the 2 best wide receivers in the NFL. Not to mention, that you have Kurt Warner as the one throwing it to them. Kurt Warner, who wasn't even drafted into the NFL. This is an even bigger Cinderella story than last year's Super Bowl. All I know is that come February 1st, Cardinals fans need to sit back, hold their breath, and watch them bring home the title for the first time in franchise history. Nothing could be sweeter.
