Testimony

Sunday at church was fast and testimony meeting. All throughout the meeting, the Spirit was giving me a gentle nudge. I got up and spoke and I wanted to share this testimony with my family and friends as it applies to them. I spoke of the passing of our Aunt Sandy and our trip 2 days after the news to the Temple. I felt so at peace when I stepped foot on the Temple grounds. I know this peace was because through the church we are blessed with the knowledge that we can be reunited once again. I feel so grateful to have this in my life and I truly don't know where I'd be without it. I love my family very much and am so thankful that we have the ability to be together for eternity. Because, one lifetime is truly not enough time to get my fill of my family. I love you all.

Harold's Birthday

Today is Harold's 23rd birthday!! Yeah, he can stop teasing me about being older. Although, I got him an early birthday present of a Cardinals jersey, I of course got him another present. I got him an X Box 360 which came with 2 games and I also got him "Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe" game. BIG MISTAKE. It's been set up for a mere 3 hours and I'm already annoyed with the screaming taking place in my home. His friend is over and of course they have to verbally act out the scenes in this Mortal Kombat game. It looks like 2 six-year-olds on the couch right now. But I'm glad he's happy. As you all know, he recently got me my puppy. And he rarely says no to my requests. It was really fun to surprise him too because he thouht i was totally against getting him one. All in all, I think he had a great birthday.

Super Bowl Outcome

Well, the Cardinals lost. :( But you know what, they put up a heck of a fight. All week everyone was talking about how it would be a blowout, but the Cardinals had the Steelers pretty scared. All in all, it was a good game. We had a big party for a lot of our friends. Here are some pics from the party along with my awesom helmet cakes I made for the occasion. And be sure to check out me and Harold's touchdown dance!
